TAKE ME TO PARADISE

Was uns eine halbe Stunde später los fahren ließ.

Well let's see getting a week off of School and go to the beach in the middle of the school year, yeah that is pretty awesome!
We went to Topsail Island, Surf City in North Carolina, no I'm not kidding that is actually the name of the town. That makes it sound even more like a vacation. We visited family and we stayed with them in their beach house. Which was a dream of a house! Right at the beach, and with right at the beach I mean 30 feet away from the water, and a deck where you could just lay in the sun.
It was so nice to just get out of the Wisconsin coldness and met such an awesome Family.
But our trip started a little rough...we missed our flight, because the "nice" security Lady was not in the best mood, so we waited over an hour and missed our flight by one Minute, ONE MINUTE(most frustrating thing ever). Of course we had different connections then, but hey we got to see the Empire State Building for like 2 minutes because we flew over New York. Once we were in North Carolina, everything was perfect, nothing to worry about.
We spend our days sitting ourside, getting suntan/sunburn, playing cards and just being carefree. It was a great time just sitting by the ocean, and some of the others were actually brave enough to go in the water, I didn't want to freeze so I passed.
Every trip has to end at some point, and so did our's. But of course not in a normal way. Walking to the car, putting our bag in it, sitting down, wanting to start the car we noticed we won't get very far, because our car just decided to quit on us, so that took us like half an hour.
Once we were at the airport everthing was fine, for a little bit..There were some weather issues and we were close to throwing up in the plane, but luckly we made it, we "just" needed 1 1/2 hours for a 40minute flight. Basically everyone on our plane had a connecting flight so we jumped of the plane and ran, but our flight was already gone. Summarized that meant, another missed flight, overloaded with frustration and had to wait 5 hours for the next one wuhuu..
So 5 hours of watching people, drinking some coffee and being bored we got finally go home.
But don't get me wrong at least I got to skip the first 3 hours of School the next day..

Well coordinated guys!
